Professor of Humanities, his main scientific interests include stylistics and grammar of contemporary Polish language. In addition, his research focuses on statistical linguistics and normative issues. So far, he has published 226 works: 12 books (9 scientific, 3 on the didactics of language), 137 scientific and 54 popular science articles, 14 reviews and 9 other texts. He has also presented 22 papers at scientific conferences. Under the Professor's editorship 4 volumes of collective works have been published. He is also the author of over 110 reviews of monographs, collective works, conference proceedings, dictionaries, school and academic textbooks. Since 2002 Professor Marek Ruszkowski has been an expert advisor to the Ministry of National Education. Since 2008, he has been providing language advice on the Cultural Information Portal of świętokrzyskie voivodeship at the Voivodeship House of Culture in Kielce.
